Thank you Wal-Mart Shopper

So, I love to grocery shop, I hate any other kind of shopping but I love to grocery shop. I love putting meals together and testing new things on my family. I was out doing my regular shopping and had stopped by Sam's Club to pick an econosize pack of butter (remember I'm a baking a fiend) for my oodles of bread and fill up the gas tank. When I was finished I made my way to Wal-Mart to start add matching and I know the cashiers hate this but I save TONS of money doing it. So anyways, I'm checking out and I realize my wallet is in the car. No biggie I know my debit/credit card by heart. I tell the cashier...no dice. Its not working I swear I have money the damage was $98 and I start to feel the heat come up in my face and there's a line forming behind me. Not to mention I look homeless I was wearing sweats with holes and I had my son with me who was wearing mismatched clothes because he had a blow out in the car. I ask the cashier "Can I run to my car and grab my wallet?", she says sure and she's super nice the whole time. Then this amazing thing happens the lady in back of me who only has a couple of outfits for her daughter I presume says "Don't worry about it, I got it" I'm thinking "I swear I have money you don't have to do that!" she insists and I feel bad because I really don't think I deserve this. I feel really bad again because everyone needs help and at that moment I needed help and she was there to help me. Maybe I did deserve something so sweet. I let her know how grateful I am and she says to "I know you'll do something good for someone else." My faith in people is restored. I was having such a bad week, because my husband was MIA with finals and all and my oldest is teething and my youngest needs to be attached to me so I barely have time to shower and look decent. There are good people in this world and I'm still grateful to you Wal-Mart shopper. Whoever you are, thank you!

Is it bad I think this is hilarious?

Ok so here's the story... Devan was being super whiny and I couldn't detach myself from m little vampire so I let her whine until eventually she stopped.

What I didn't realize was that she had fallen asleep. I had a hard time capturing it because I was laughing so hard I sent it to Josh. I love being a mom! Is it just me or do I sound like a 10 year old boy?

Last Christmas

My husband and I put up our Christmas decorations and while we were putting everything up I couldn't help but to think about my sweet mother in law. I miss her so much and it became tradition that we setup Christmas decorations and she has a ton (seriously North Pole ain't got nothin on her). You can imagine my excitement I always felt like I was a little girl because we would jam out to Christmas music. I love Christmas and the fact that this woman celebrated Christmas everyday of her life. She had the Christmas spirit 24/7, 365 days a year. This year I want to strive to be more like her. I'll be far from it but I'm going to attempt the following before the 2011 year ends. Here are my goals:

1. Make bread from scratch (attempting it today, post later)
2. Make clothes for my kids... I'm most frightened for this one
3. Bake my heart out
4. Be charitable

There you have it. I don't think I will EVER live up to her because seriously she was the definition of supermom. I hope everyone has an amazing holiday season!

Hello there

Things are so busy around our little household. Gavin is growing HUGE, he's already 13lbs! I love my fat boy. Devan is a busy body. She keeps us all entertained and its getting harder and harder to discipline because I always break my serious face. Josh is rocking school, pretty sure he's kicking butt! I am staying busy with both my kiddos and Josh. Oh boy, did you know 3 years ago on November 24th, Josh and I were married. Finally after being bff forever and then him being a dumb boy he finally got it right and 3 years later we have two beautiful children and living our dreams! Thanks Gordon for 3 years of pure awesomeness!

wee man

Our little guy is already so BIG! At his first doctor's appointment he lost weight, going from 8lbs to 7lbs 10oz. At his two week appointment he was 10lbs. He's got fun little rolls and is already in size diapers. Some of his newborn clothes never got to see daylight. He's now in his 3-6 months. He's such a good boy and quite the snuggle bug. I'm so excited to see him get bigger and play with his sister. They love each other so much!

get off me baby hippo

yesterday my AMAZING husband and the kiddos took me shopping. he's so sweet. i ruined it though....how, you ask? well i had a mini panic attack with all the clothes. dressing like a slob for 18 months really warps ones sense on fashion. it was like a slap in the face. it hurt...a lot. what the hell are people wearing these days? i can't rock leggings or those skinny jeans, i've got muffin top like real bad.
picture this with skinny jeans on....do you see it? thats me...ohhh so hot. what happened to my body? what did my kids do to my body (the kids are my scapegoat for everything)? i found some pretty awesome stuff but still its way hard to get back into the groove of things. no one ever told me that life would be a bad word when you got your body back. my husband has been so sweet and patient through it all. i'm glad we're going to be dieting and bringing on our fitness together so we can bring sexy back.

Remember me?

Its Meesa. I know its been awhile but life has taken our little family on some pretty crazy turns. After we had Devan, Josh was pretty confident that another kid would be no problem. We soon found out we were pregnant again. Needless to say Gavin was a HUGE surprise. Anyway...two kids is NOT the same as having one, especially since they're not even a year apart. I'm quickly learning how to multitask and manage a whole day without any sleep. My little man is a night owl (advice anyone?) and my little pumpkin is an early bird. Even though our place quickly gets messy from toys and clothes I do manage to clean my kitchen every night. Its so hard but so rewarding. I love my kids.

This past week I had my wonderful mom watch both my kids while I went to my sister's baby shower. After the baby shower I went to go pick up my chillens, my mom has bought me a dress and we took Gavin with us into the room so I could try it on. My mom laid Gavin on the bed and she noticed that his lips were blue. We started to do the baby version of the Heimlich Maneuver on him and he was still not breathing. We started CPR on him and I called 911. This was the longest 3 minutes of my life. The look on his face was blank and I was frantic to get my baby to breathe. He finally came to when the firemen and paramedics arrived. We spent 2 nights at the hospital and the verdict ended up being reflux. PLEASE watch your newborns and make sure they are still breathing. Its ok to be a paranoid mom, the doctor told me had we not done CPR he would not have come to. It terrifies me to think what was happening to my little guy, seeing his little face like that still haunts me. I keep a watchful eye on him and thanks to the doctors we were able to take home an apnea monitor to make sure his heart and lungs are still doing their job.

When we were finally dishcharged, Josh started to get ready for work and we got a call from my mom. She told us she was in the ER with my Devan. Devan had stuck her thumb in the fan and the fan really just beat it up. She was ok, no stitches or anything just a nice bandaged hand and feel good medicines. My kids love the hospital. I don't know what it is, maybe its because Josh works there and they want to see Dad. Its been a pretty rough month and I really hope we're done with hospital visits forever.

dot dot dot

....so anyways...I had a baby like 10 days ago and here are some pictures of him and his older sister.

Bear with me, I'm pumping at the moment. Typing is sort of difficult. This cute little girl had a birthday to celebrate a huge accomplishment! She turned 1! Her dad and I took her to lunch and then picked out some fun toys (party is still being planned).

Life has been busy for our little family. Josh is a rock star and has been real patient with me and the kiddos, even when he has projects due or tests to cram for. He takes time to make sure I'm not turning into a lunatic. He's a superstar at school, if I had gold star stickers I would put them all over his face because he's doing so great, we're definitely proud of him (the kiddos and myself). I've been slowly learning to handle two kids. Its a little bumpy but I think I'm on my way. I know its definitely not going to get easier but I feel a lot more confident in myself. Devan is adjusting to her little brother. She just likes to watch him and give occasional kisses. She's a little jealous of him and its something I need to work on....if only I could find another me... She's hilarious and only getting more beautiful everyday. She's a smart little stinker, but only makes me want to attack her with kisses and tickle fights. G is such a good baby. Not very fussy and he's such a cuddle bug. He's so sweet and I just want to eat him up! Life is swell!

welcome home

He's here and we're ecstatic! We love him and are so excited to have a new member in our family. When he was delivered Josh took one look at him and saw his big hands and knew his name had to change from Gavin Joshua to Gavin Willard, because Pops Gordon has some big hands and our baby inherited those hands. We know that just like his Papa he's going to do some amazing things with those hands! Welcome home GWG!

going crazy

I'm going crazy. Don't get freaked out or weirded out, I've been seeing things. I'm not Hayley Joel Osment and seeing Bruce Willis, but like little things like there are specks and crap out of the corner of my eye. I've got crazy vision right now. Anyone else have that? Maybe I'm anemic? I told my man I was seeing things and he also thought I might be seeing Bruce Willis, I told him no because that's scary and I think I would be super scared to ever be alone again. Anyway, I told him I was seeing sparkles and little bugs out of the corner of my eye. He didn't really think anything of it because I complain about a million things. My doctor did say that some women have changes in their vision when they're pregnant. I think I'd rather see Bruce Willis than sparkles and bugs. Maybe I really do have a sixth sense or I have special superpowers that only happen when I'm pregnant that allow me to see things that no one else can. Creepy...

happy are we

My sweet, little Devan is walking. She walks EVERYWHERE! She really started walking 3 weeks ago but she's like a super walker now. Ahhh....where has the time gone? Its almost been a whole year, how does time escape like that? Not to mention I'm already at 17 days and counting until this little boy is out! I went to the down there doc today and am now 70% effaced (a 20% improvement from last week) and I'm dilated to 3, sorry, tmi? Anywho, Joshua is finished with his first trimester of nursing school and will quickly be moving into the second this Monday. This guy is so busy with work and school, I'm thankful I see him at dinner time. He's a champ! Life is good, a little busy, but good nonetheless.

Drop your pants here

For the most part there have been 3 of these baskets lurking in the corner of our bedroom for....lets say, awhile. I dread laundry day...like I would rather squeeze lemon in my own eye than do laundry. Due to my severe lack of nesting skills, I finally woke up one morning and realized that my poor husband was having to do smell checks..bleh...poor kid. That was the last straw! No more! I washed it...all of it. It took me two days and now my room feels so much better. I feel like I have the Wal-Mart smiley face on top of my head. All the clothes are clean and everything is folded and put away. Its exciting. I feel so accomplished.

So many things to do, so little time

Instead of doing the things I should be doing I'm going to blog about what I'm supposed to be doing. I have a ton laundry to do....like an embarrassing amount. It gets out of control at our place, clean things get mixed with dirty and things I swear I've washed 3 times before are being washed again. I should do dishes, I don't want to. I need to vacuum the cheerios off the ground..eh, I'll wait until Josh gets home. I need to get ready for this kid...all his clothes are washed and he's got some diapers. I have the itch to do all of these things but no energy. What's my deal? Isn't this nesting period?

Suggestions?

This little beauty is going to be WHOLE YEAR OLD in less than a month. Poor girl has to share her limelight with her baby brother who is due the day after her birthday. I'm in a pickle, I haven't planned anything for her birthday. Some things here and there and its been tradition on my side of the family that for the 1st birthday, grandma gets them for ALL day so she can shower them with gifts, food and love. I kinda want to throw her a party but I'm thinking if we did throw a party it would be best to do it after this kid is born. What to do, what to do. Thoughts? Should I follow tradition?

Day 30: Whatever tickles my fancy

I'm getting anxious for my little man to get here. We have finally survived and made it to the last month. Now all we have to do is survive the next few years! I can't wait until he's here! Is it bad that I loved my first experience in the hospital? I was waited on hand and foot so needless to say I'm excited to have this little bundle.

Day 29: Hopes and dreams for the next 365 days

I hope to keep my sanity with two kids only a year apart. I'm so proud of my husband and his accomplishments and I can't wait for him to see what he has finished after nursing school! That's my dream I guess is to see the look of accomplishment on his face when he's finished this big hurdle in his life and to know that he can go on and finish CRNA school as well, it can be done! I hope I can lose weight. I've never stopped being pregnant so it'll feel good to have my body back and have some control over it. I hope we stay happy and maybe go on a few vacations. I hope my family stays safe and I hope that members of my family can just be happy.

Day 27 and Day 28: Month and year in great detail

Psh! Are you kidding?

January - Almost had a heart attack because I found out we were pregnant.

February - I can't remember a whole here. We finally moved into our own place and I think we found out Josh was accepted into nursing school :) Still makes me happy.

March - I turned back time and turned 22 all over again! Celebrated a pluthera of birthdays on Josh's side and my side.

April - We found out we were expecting a little boy. I'll admit, I cried. I can finally have a buddy because Devan is a Daddy's girl and for the most part doesn't really want anything to do with me when dad's home.

May - Josh turned 25! Grandma June passed away and we will always miss her but know she's real happy where she's at.

June - Not a whole lot here.

July - Wishing summer would go away.

August - counting down the hours until I get some of my body back. Getting things ready for our little princess's FIRST birthday! Nuts huh?!

Day 26: My week in great detail

For real? I can't even remember to put up my posts let alone what happened 5 minutes ago. Let's see this week and in random order, I was pretty much put up on bed rest. I did some laundry went shopping a few times and made some new recipes (chicken parmesan, southwest chicken wraps, twice baked potato). Played with Devan everyday and slept very little. Tried to fit in a shower by myself. FINALLY satisfied my craving for Papa Murphy's pizza. Josh, Devan and I went and visited with Josh's brother. Went to the down there doc found out I wasn't dilated as much as I was told the first time (I was told I was dilated to 3 but I'm half that and 50% effaced). Taken off bed rest. Everyday I hoped my water would break..to no avail. That pretty much sums up my week. Fascinating huh?

Day 25: My day in great detail

Its only 8:30 AM, but so far Devan woke up and we did our morning ritual where her dad takes her out of her crib and lets her attack me. Devan and I get up, I change her diaper, we watch some Wiggles and I blog about it. Breakfast is already served and Dad is still snoozing while I finish watching The Wiggles for the umpteenth time. Productive right?

She's learned to escape her Bumbo and its a constant fight to keep her from going so close to the TV. Any suggestions?

Day 24: Whatever tickles my fancy

Loves it!

Day 23: A Youtube video

I know its not ok when your kid says a bad word and maybe I'm a bad parent but I would try really hard not to laugh when they would say and when I tell them the word they used was not ok. I think Josh and I laughed at this video forever!

I guess it wont be as funny when its your own kid.

Day 22: A website that gives me a good chuckle

Easy...

www.funnyordie.com

Day 21: A recipe

Remember how I told you that I don't bake? Well I didn't bake but I did make an easy peasy to die for Banana Cream pie, that is still giving me heartburn. Can you guess what it is?

1 4-serving size box of instant chocolate or vanilla pudding
1 c. cold water
1 14-oz. can sweetened condensed milk
2 cookie crusts. You can use anything--graham crackers, Nilla Wafers, shortbread, even Oreo.
Lots of bananas
1 pint whipping cream
1/3 c. powdered sugar

In a medium bowl, combine pudding mix, cold water, and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well and place in the refrigerator to chill for a few minutes. In another bowl, whip 1 c. of whipping cream until soft peaks form.

Slice the bananas (probably 4 small bananas or 2 large bananas) and layer them on the bottom of the crusts. Be sure and save the plastic domes that come with the pie crusts--you'll need them later!

Set aside. Remove pudding from the fridge and gently dollop the whipped cream on top of the pudding. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture until well-combined.

Now divide the mixture between the two pies.

Prepare sweetened whipped cream with the remaining whipping cream and 1/3 c. of powdered sugar and spread it on top of the two pies. Place the clear plastic shells back on the pies and allow to chill for several hours. This is actually really important--I tried eating it right away once and the pie wasn't banana-y at all and the moisture hadn't absorbed into the crust, so the crust just fell apart.
And there you have it-

Day 20: Hobby of mine

Like I said in my post before..I have a hard time sticking to one thing, but if I had a lot of money I would definitely spend it on crafty stuff. I'm a closet scrapbooker and I like to sew. Who would have known?

Day 19: A Talent of mine

Hmm.....I don't have a whole lot that I'm great at. I've never been one to keep up with one thing and practice it. I just don't have the attention span for it. I guess if I had a talent it would be cooking...I can cook and all my experiments turn out pretty well. My mom is the same way but I'm in NO WAY in her caliber of cooking. I've always loved to sit and watch my cook..one day I'll be able to cook like her but other than that I guess that would be my talent.

Day 18: Whatever tickles my fancy

I've come to the conclusion it is IMPOSSIBLE for me to blog for 30 days straight. Here's my ketchup....

Nothing has really been tickling my fancy. Except for this show:

I'm a sucker for these kinds of shows. CSI (Las Vegas, of course), Lie to Me and others.

Day 17: A piece of art

I love this painting, it was love at first sight! This pictures constantly reminds that no matter what our skin color is or whatever walk of life we're from our Savior still loves us. This painting is called "Children of the World" and I also think of the line in A Child's Prayer when it says "..suffer the children to come to me." Such a sweet reminder. Anyway, my fave...maybe one day I will have the huge painting of it (wink, wink dear)

Day 16: A song that makes me cry

What makes this song even better is the background of it. The lead singer of Yellowcard (or used to be), his grandpa wrote this love letter to his wife of 58+ years and you can hear him reading it in the song. So sweet that he is still so in love with his sweetheart after all those years. Little happy tears always come out of my eyeballs when I hear it. Enjoy!

Day 15: Fanfic

What the heck is a "fanfic?" Its late and my brain isn't working so well these days, plus I have no desire to look it up myself.

Day 14: Non Fictional Book

Does this count? I'm reading it now, so I can be rich. You laugh now, just wait.

Day 13: A Fictional Book

I'm a Wicked fan. I still haven't seen the musical sensation but I have read the books. This is the first one and let me tell you its scandalous. I'm not telling you to read it but if you are going to pick this one up...beware.

Day 12: Whatever tickles my fancy

Devan and cousin Mark, our first camping trip.

Day 11: Photo taken of me recently

I refuse to take any pictures of myself in my current state. I don't want to be reminded of how I'm starting my own solar system. Here's one that is taken earlier in the year...it'll due for now.

Day 10: A photo of me taken over 10 years ago

oh boy....are you ready for this?

Age: 7
Ignore my crazy shark teeth. This shirt was my favorite shirt in the entire world, if I could fit into I totally would rock it today, pregnant belly and all. Can you picture it? Delish...
Place: Uncle Tony and Aunt Polly's in NM.

Day 9: A Photo I took

My first trip, without family. Josh and I took this trip and had an amazing time! This was at Ground Zero and you can still see the damage that is still being cleaned up years later. It was a really moving experience to see how many people from all over the world came together to try and help pick up the pieces. It made me feel really humbled that there are still so many people willing to give a helping hand to a complete stranger.

Day 8: A Photo that makes sad/angry

I actually really love this photo, but it does make me sad because the woman in the photo is my sweet mother-in-law June. I miss her lots and think about her lots. I think about her a lot when I'm in the kitchen or when I'm attempting to bake something. She was the master of baking and taught me a lot about baking and showed me her vast collection of fun baking doodads. The very first thing I wanted her to teach me was to bake a peach cobbler, she stayed up until almost midnight with me showing me the ins and outs of making the perfect cobbler. I do miss her and I kick myself all the time because I only have two pictures of her and Devan together. I hate that I didn't capture more, I have tons of memories but none on paper.

Day 7: Photo that makes me happy

Were you expecting a photo of my kids? Psh! This photo makes me super happy! This is my adorable husband Josh. Isn't he cute? Doesn't he remind you of Michelle Tanner? You got it duuude! I'm in love with this picture and how stinkin cute it is! I still make him give me thumbs up and say "you got it duude." He hates it, I love it.

Day 6: Whatever tickles my fancy

I'm craving Christmas. Its in my top 3 favorite holidays. Love the tree, decorations, the company, the smell and last but certainly not least the annual tamale making get together with my mom and my two sisters. Ohhhh where are you Christmas?

Day 5: Favorite Quote

"I don't want to drive up to the pearly gates in a shiny sports car, wearing beautifully, tailored clothes, my hair expertly coiffed, and with long, perfectly manicured fingernails.
I want to drive up in a station wagon that has mud on the wheels from taking kids to scout camp.
I want to be there with a smudge of peanut butter on my shirt from making sandwiches for a sick neighbors children.
I want to be there with a little dirt under my fingernails from helping to weed someone's garden.
I want to be there with children's sticky kisses on my cheeks and the tears of a friend on my shoulder.
I want the Lord to know I was really here and that I really lived."
— Marjorie Pay Hinckley

I love this woman!

Favorite Book

This is a toughie. I'm in no way a bookworm, I want to be but I think I might have some ADD. My husband is the bookworm in the family, I make fun of him but I'm really just jealous that he can just sit and read. So anyways (Nacho style), my favorite book that I have read was actually recommended by my good friend Miriam (side note: if you're reading this, I'm still very depressed that you guys are moving east coast, we'll miss you). Drum roll please:

I loved this book! It was written so honestly and without the author adding her opinion about her life. Pick it up its awesome...I'm currently waiting for the sequel, I've been on hold at the library for weeks.

Favorite Show

I love Glee. I'm a convert and it was the best choice I've ever made.

Favorite Movie

This movie has become my recent favorite since it first came out. I don't think there's a movie I could watch over and over and over and over (get my drift?) again and still laugh as hard as the first time. I quote a lot from this movie because it makes me happy and I CAN and HAVE watched this movie several times in a day.

Favorite Song

Well Ashlee and Serena you have inspired me to blog 30 things in 30 days. So here goes:

Oh geez...I love, LOVE, love oldies...like Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Nat King Cole and the ever so wonderful Etta James....since I would have to pick a favorite it would have to be "At Last" by Etta James.

>

This is mine and Josh's song, we always junior high slow dance to it.

I know, I'm immature..

I don't care what anyone says, someone farting (not around me) is funny. Yes, I'm a 12 year old boy..

4th of July

This had to be the busiest 4th of July ever! I was all farty and bloaty the night before so to take extra precautions I didn't go to church, I know I'm a sinner. Seriously, I did not want to be sick on anyone. After a wonderful 3 hour nap I felt much better and our little pack headed for the annual Gordon BBQ. Yum! Whoever made the cheesecake I need the recipe ASAP! Then after stuffing my face there we headed to my parents house for another schmorgesborg of meats and other tasty foods. By this time I was pretty sure either my food baby or my real baby needed to be delivered. We then headed to see our good friends the Greenhalgh's (we've missed your scent) we ate some yummy homemade ice cream and let our stomachs have a rest from all the face stuffing. Devan was so relaxed she threw up all the food people were putting in front of her. I'm an awesome mom and watched as they cleaned it up (sorry again). We ended the night with them coming home with us and watching a long movie I didn't understand...but still we love hanging out with the Greenhalgh's (Serena I think we need to hang out more often because seriously its been way too long). In the end our tummies were happy and we were glad to spend the 4th with family and friends! We love the U.S.A!

toes

Its funny because its true! I can't see anything so on Sunday I went to church with super hairy legs and I didn't know they were super hairy until I sat on the floor and could actually see them. I also didn't know that my toes were in desperate need of some TLC.. I've been walking around with chipped toenails because I keep stubbing my pregnant feet on everything! Oh man as much as I love this kid I can't wait to evict him ASAP. Pregnancy and AZ summers are never ok. Even though my tummy has some new tiger stripes and my boobs are thrice as big, and my butt eats every chair I sit I really miss my body and I really need it back! Mom needs some gym time and a plastic surgeon.

where the wild things are

We took our little animal to the zoo for freeeeeee the other day and she and her dad had a blast. I'm all for the zoo, but it was way hot and I was starting to balloon from the cankles up. We had a great day and ended the day with a cool swim which was very much needed.

Little Miss Sunshine

Can you handle this?

Sometimes I don't think I can....I thought I would be the one to discipline her and be able to punish her but between her dad and I...

I'm pretty sure this girl could get away with murder.

She reminds me of those Sour Patch Kids commercials

First she's sour, then she's sweet.

Our little Pumpkin is now 21.5lbs. She has no teeth still but that doesn't stop her from eat anything and everything. She climbs up on things and gets into everything, if you wait long enough she'll show you she can stand on her own. She likes to hit and cuddle any defenseless baby that's smaller than she is. She's an army crawler and she's fast! She says Dad, da-da, and sometimes daddy (when she's really sick), ma-ma when she's mad or hungry, na-na and no-no. She keeps us busy and when she feels like it she can be best the cuddle bug ever!

ketchup

This month has been filled with bittersweet moments.

Josh's mom and my sweet mother-in-law passed away. We're going to miss her dearly but we all know that she's doing all the things she wanted to but just couldn't do here. She was the sweetest, beautiful and compassionate woman I've ever known and I hope that I can live by her example.

Without a doubt I know that Mom June was with us and gave at least a little nudge in helping Josh get accepted into nursing school. It was definitely a relief and a moment that filled us with gratitude. I'm so proud of my husband, because he worked so hard going to school full time and working full time. I'm so grateful for him, he's the best husband, friend and dad!

(get it, he's grabbing the bull by the horns.)

To: My moms, grandmas and ALL my sisters

I know its a bit early but because I laughed so hard I had to post it for all you fantastic women who have been such a blessing in my life (Both my moms, my Nana, Grandma Button, and to ALL my sisters - Monica, Licha, Tonya, Rosa, Heather, Erika, Aubs and Tara- I know its been rough, but I hope you all know what amazing mom's you are and how much you all are an inspiration to me. I hope this gives you a little laugh.

Happy Early Mother's Day!

you're my boy blue!!

Well, if you don't know already we're having........

Do you see his little turtle?

7 months

I can't believe my little pumpkin is almost 7 months. I looked at her pictures when she was a newborn and cried. When did this happen? Its been so fun watching her learn new things and grow so big! She says things like baba (bottle) num num (food, I would always say num num to her before and while I fed her) dada and mom. Its nuts! She's crawling and working on sitting up, she's even pulling herself up on the couch and on our coffee table. It just makes me sad that she wont let me cuddle her unless she's just woken up or doesn't feel very good. Oh man, I was really nervous about this baby because I had so many people tell me horror stories, but I realized I AM crazy and I LOVE being a mom. I know that wont solve everything but I know I have what it takes to be a mom of two. I know I'm going to go crazy and I know I'm probably going to get in the shower and cry because I'm so stressed BUT I do know that everything will be fine and that I'm just crazy enough to do this. Josh and I are excited for Devan to have a baby brother or sister to grow up with and get into trouble.

Getting ready for bed

You know how most people put there jammies on and brush their teeth yadda, yadda, yadda... Josh and I have started a new routine for our bed time ritual. We see who can get the answer fastest when we do math homework and then we put baby to bed and stay up as long as possible playing Super Mario World, apparently he thinks I throw too big of a temper tantrum when we play Mario Kart Wii, I think he secretly wants to cry when he dies at Mario World (we aren't very sportsman like). When the first curse word comes out we know its time for bed. The days are super long and I long for sweet sleep at night but I repeat the routine over. Hi, I'm Meesa and I'm an addict....

Spring, Spring, Spring

Well, where to start, where to start? Josh is working and going to school, I don't really see him very much except Sunday because he works nights on the weekends and sleeps during the day and when he's not at work he's at school. He's my superman and Devan's superdad. Devan is HUGE! Girlfriend is 19lbs (92%) and I forget how tall she is but she's huge! She's 6 months and I can hardly believe it! Her little rolls all over her body make me want to eat her. Can you stand it?
She's also taking a quick start to kissing (taking after her dad)sorry Meagan and Roy I guess your son is no longer VL, he didn't really have a choice.
Last but no least I am doing great! I recently started babysitting little Braden (he's the baby being ambushed in above picture). Oh, and did I forget to mention that I'm 16 weeks pregnant? The littlest of our clan is set to arrive 9/12/2010
**Fun Fact
Little Baby Gordon's due date is a day after Devan was born and a day before Devan was due.
