Well the holidays have flown by and I only see my butt and stomach getting fatter and fatter. I've let myself go...real bad. Every time I feel myself getting fatter I stuff my face with chocolate goodies and probably twice fried crap to comfort myself. I'm gross..I feel like I've become one of those people that eats 33,000 calories everyday. I am the making of the largest woman on earth. Stick by and watch me grow before your very eyes! Today was my "A-HA" moment, I a-ha'd that I can lose weight and that I don't need to make it a New Year resolution. I can take as long as I want and its ok if I chunk out one day, I just need to remember that I want to feel better and that I don't need to be a skeleton to be healthy. I know it'll take a while to be fit but I CAN start eating healthier and eat in proportion. Why did it take me so long to realize that I can have my cake and eat it too...maybe just not deep fried and the whole cake. So my goal is to tone that booty and tighten my loose skin. Just because I am a Relief Society teacher doesn't mean I need the arms. So here we go 2010, I'm not pregnant so I better burn those muu-muus and get rid of my stretchy pants, its time pump up!!
.....meh

Happenings
Goodness, where have I been? Let's see, what's been going on? Ah! The 24th Josh and I celebrated two blissful years of marriage! Can you believe it? He surprised with flowers and a romantic collection of our favorite songs. What a sweetheart! It didn't end there he made me a steak dinner and we ate under the moonlight and sat by a warm fire. Romantic huh? He's too good to me.
Can you believe that December 11th my little nugget will be 3 months? Isn't she stinkin' cute? She's delicious and I love her to pieces!
Last but not least Halloween rocked! We spent it with the Gordon fam. Devan was a little butterfly, Josh was a Samauri, I was Dora the Explorer...so fitting right? Pardon my editing, I've gained a few since birth..by few I mean like a 300 lbs.

I Hope They Call Me on a Mission
I love to hear my husband teach. I've had the privilege to go with him when he visits investigators (he's one of the ward missionaries). I love when teaches because he captivates people, they listen to him.
I know that he teaches with Spirit, because of the warm fuzzies I get, I cry all the time. For a few months now he and Pop Gordon have been working with the Medlocks. It first started when their 8 year old daughter decided to get baptized and from there her dad, mom and sister decided to get baptized. How awesome is that? I'm definitely not the type of person to have the guts to bare my testimony, but I did, when I accompanied this family at the visitor's center. I felt really good and I had an ounce of what I feel my husband feels when he teaches people about the gospel. Anyway, the mom and dad were married the same day they were baptized. It was awesome to see my husband and father-in-law see the fruits of their labors. After the marriage and baptisms our ward held a little reception and I was able to sit at the same table as the bride and groom and it gave me goosebumps to hear the groom say "I've done a lot of things in my life, but I never thought I would feel the way I do now." It was so great to see this family glow, their countenance changed and everyone who was there felt it. I hope that Josh and I are able to be called on a mission.

I live for this...
I'm in love with how much he loves her
**Notice her Michelin Man arms...oh how I love her!**
Life sure has a way of kicking you down, but I'm sure grateful for the people and the little things that pick me back up again. I live for moments like these.

Thanks!
Oh man....where to start? Well Josh got the job! I knew he would because he's just great like that. Devan is super, Josh is super and I'm super. I'm really just grateful for my family even if there is craziness at times I'm so grateful for them and the support they've always provided especially my husband. Its weird how I lived 20 years without the guy and 22 without my little angel, life just wouldn't be the same without them. Love you fam and friends you guys are amazing! Thanks for being so super dee duper!

2 plus 1 makes 3
Well I think its safe to say that Devan and I are going to make it. I love her and she loves me most of the time. I tell you what though, being a mom isn't the same as having a pet. Remember when I first started my blog and I told all of you about my 12 step program I had to go through before Josh would even consider me taking care of another life? Let me refresh your memory... It all started with a chia pet...if I could take care of that I could have a garden and if I could take care of that...a puppy and then if the puppy could survive me then along comes baby..not quite 12 steps but you get the point. Well, needless to say my chia pet died because of monsoon season I left it outside and it was knocked over and I also forgot about it for a couple days...or weeks. Then my garden was doing awesome and then with my work schedule being so crazy...it died..the whole thing. Then my puppy...good ole Bowser..he didn't die...but because our apartments wouldn't let us keep him we had to give him away or be evicted. So technically the puppy wasn't my fault, but I could understand everyone's worry about me having another life in my hands...a human one at that. Don't worry I must be doing something right because at her appointment she gained a whole pound and grew a quarter of an inch. She is spoiled rotten by everyone especially her daddy. My favorite times are just watching her make faces and I could just watch her all day. She's such a good girl and Josh and I are so blessed to have her!
In other news..Josh had an interview with Banner Desert which is a HUGE deal for him and us because its his jumpstart into his medical career. Please pray for him, its a big deal and he deserves to get the job. He's been working so hard and I know he has. He's such a great dad, when he comes home exhausted from school and work he still makes the time to cuddle with Devan. Its adorable.
