You stay classy, San Diego

Needless to say we had a blast on our first family vacation! Our vacation has been put on hold so many times and we were finally able to go. First stop was Sand Diego (said like Ron Burgandy). Not the cleanest place, but Sea World made up or it! It was my first time and Josh's umm...millionth? J/K I'm not really sure, but anyway I'm pretty sure I screamed every time I saw an aquatic creature. I was completely freaked out at how big Shamu was. Those killer whales are ginormous, besides them attacking their trainers, why on earth would anyone want to get in with them? I'm a big girl and I would be an appetizer. Sea World...Amazing! Next up...our favorite place in the world...Huntington Beach. We shopped til we dropped ate at our favorite place Wahoo's and enjoyed each others company. After that was my personal all time favorite place..Disneyland. I was gitty and barely noticed the ache of my feet from walking all over Sea World and up and down all the shops at Huntington. The kids had fun and most importantly I had fun. To be perfectly honest I would have ridden every ride by myself, but the looks on my kids faces were priceless. I loved that the kiddos and I got steal dear Mr. Gordon away and we have fond memories that I know I will never forget.

WARNING: Picture overload

I love daddy, he loves me

This is one of the millions of reasons this girl has her daddy wrapped around her finger.

Fatty McFat Fat

So all my life I've been "pleasantly plump" and now I'm feeling like borderline morbidly obese. I exaggerate but I do feel like that. I always envied the girls I knew in high school who were the perfect single digit sized pant and secretly enjoyed them grow to be "pleasantly plump," like me. I know I'm a terrible person. I am and I'm sorry. I try not to think that way because I'm enabling myself to sit on my bum and watch a marathon of Jersey Shore or any other guilty pleasure reality TV show that makes me feel like I'm slowly losing brain cells. So give me advice ladies, what do you do? How do you stay motivated? What are your secret awesome workouts for the best abs or making those buns rock hard. Speaking of, gravity is literally a bad word. Since being a mom my body is not the same. My derriere is soggy and my ladies...ahem..are sad. I'm starting new and I'm going to work on my fitness, any suggestions of some awesome workout routines would be awesome!

I'm so glad when daddy comes home!

Let me tell you why my husband is the World's BEST Dad:

1. Even though he works full time and goes to school full time he still saves some energy to play with the kids.

2. He spoils our kids rotten, even though mom says no dad says yes, and they love it!

3. Even when he is in the coolest places he still wishes to be home with all of us.

4. When the kids are sick he takes extra ,super care of them and makes sure they have everything they need to feel better, even extra cuddles and kisses. (Including me)

There are literally 1 million different reasons he is the best dad, I probably don't have the space on blogger to write them all! I'm so grateful to have this wonderful man, sometimes I still think "Oh my gosh..I married JOSH GORDON!!" Happy Father's Day Gordon! I love you so much! Thank you for being such a great man, friend, husband, and most importantly father to our kids! I love your freaking guts!

Summer in the city

My daughter has a love hate relationship with her cousin Mark. There's no doubt she loves to follow him around and copy everything he does, but she hates when he'd rather watch a movie than play with her. Its normal for one of them to come home from a playdate with battle wounds. This picture was taken at my mom's house. Grandpa built a special bench for the grandkids to sit under the shade with the grownups. I love this picture. My oldest nephews and nieces (the oldest being almost 17) all have a similar picture with each other sitting in the shade enjoying a popsicle in grandma's backyard. Oh summer, please don't be blazing!
Just a random. I love this picture too. My kids love one another. They play so well together and they are the best of friends. Sometimes they make me crazy, sometimes they gross me out (like this morning, my daughter threw up on my face), and all the time I just love that they are mine and they make me happy.

Some kids

or maybe all kids are gross. My Devan is definitely the best of both worlds. She loves to wear make-up and dress up and she loves to roll in dirt and eat bugs. I've got my hands full. Last night we were all doing our nightly ritual. Devan was in the bath and sometimes she doesn't like me in there, so I trick her and wait by the door in case something happens (don't worry I wasn't too far away and she does know how to swim), she's Miss Independent. I wait until she calls me in to wash her hair. I start to and notice that there are floaties in the water...blech. It doesn't end there! She had thrown her poo into the toilet! I noticed she missed a couple of times. I didn't know how to feel. I was angry that it was poop, I was impressed that she knew that poop belonged in the potty and grossed out completely that I had to put my hand in the poo water and that my daughter was literally bathing in her own filth. I've been peed on, thrown up on, boogers wiped on me, those things are no problem. I HATE poop! If its safely tucked in their diapers I can handle changing them, but when they fling it or eat it...ugh vomit! Why isn't my husband ever the one to catch it? Granted he did fall asleep watching her and she rubbed vaseline on him and everything she got her hands on. Hilarious! Have any of you moms ever had something like this happen? I'm not alone in this right?

I triple dog dare you

to go here and either be super embarrassed at how much you don't remember or super impressed that you actually know where they all go...you have to do it because I tripled dog dared you.
